You will need to put enough water in the tub you are using to cover him about half way up,he should be able to stand up rather than having to swim to keep afloat.Tepid water should be used,or close to the body temperature,which should be about 27 celcius.Dont leave him in the water to long as his body temperature
will lower with the waters.Never pour water,either hot or cold,directly on to the lizard unless this is something both you and your lizard are used to.If scared on the first few occasions,you will have problems in the future
